Corvairs Land Braydon Hobson to Strengthen 2025-26 Roster

The Caledonia Corvairs have added another key piece to their 2025-26 roster, acquiring 2006-born forward Braydon Hobson from the Georgetown Raiders (OJHL).

Hobson, a 6’0”, 165-pound product of Georgetown, Ontario, brings with him a full season of Junior A experience. He appeared in 43 games for the Raiders during the 2024-25 campaign, registering 5 goals, 18 assists, and 70 penalty minutes. Known for his edge, playmaking ability, and willingness to battle in tough areas, Hobson is expected to bring both depth and spark to the Corvairs’ forward group.

“Braydon is going to bring a bit of everything to the table for us,” said GM Jake MacNeil. “There’s an offensive player in there that will have a breakout season when in the right surroundings and situations. He brings an edge to his game as well. Reminds us a lot of Ethan Osborne when we acquired him. Braydon is going to be an important piece to our lineup and he’s excited to contend for a championship.”

The Corvairs continue to shape their roster ahead of what’s expected to be a highly competitive GOJHL season, and Hobson’s arrival only adds to the team’s growing mix of skill, grit, and experience.
