Northern Edge: St. Paul’s Easton Swift Runs It Back

The Caledonia Corvairs are pleased to announce that 2005-born forward Easton Swift has re-signed with the team for the upcoming 2025–26 GOJHL season.

Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, Swift joined the Corvairs ahead of the 2024–25 campaign and quickly made his presence known. The hard-nosed forward added a physical two-way game to the roster and proved to be a reliable piece throughout the season. Whether it was a timely forecheck, suffocating backcheck, finishing his hits, or standing up for teammates, Swift brought consistent energy and embraced the Corvairs identity from day one.

Now with a full season of junior experience under his belt, he returns to Caledonia looking to elevate his game even further as part of a group aiming to take the next step.

“Swifty brings passion, a hard work ethic and a never quit mentality.” said GM Jake MacNeil. “He’s the kind of player that’ll push the pace in the gym, motivate in the rough times and he’s the kind of player who will block the shot with 5 seconds left in game 7 up 1 goal. His character is next to none and he is determined and hungry to win a championship this season. We’re going to see another level of Swifty this season”.

The organization is excited to have Easton back in the fold and looks forward to seeing his continued growth heading into the 2025–26 season.
