Caledonia, ON – August 18, 2025 —The Caledonia Corvairs are pleased to announce the acquisition of 2006-born defenseman Mason Wharton from the North York Rangers (OJHL).
Wharton, a 5’11”, 185-pound right-shot from Toronto, Ontario, split the 2023-24 season between the Toronto Patriots and North York Rangers in the OJHL. Across 49 games, he registered 12 points and 71 penalty minutes while establishing himself as a steady presence on the back end.
Known for his physical edge and compete level, Wharton will add grit and stability to the Corvairs’ defensive group heading into the 2024-25 campaign.
