Royer Returns To Caledonia for 2025–26 Season

Caledonia, Ontario – July 9, 2025 – The Caledonia Corvairs are proud to announce the return of Ethan Royer, who has re-signed with the club ahead of the 2025–26 GOJHL season.

A 2007-born forward from Niagara-on-the-Lake, Royer enters his second season in Caledonia after putting together a steady rookie campaign. In 30 games during the 2024–25 season, he registered 5 goals and 5 assists for 10 points, while recording just 2 penalty minutes.

Royer quickly established himself as a dependable option up front, contributing on both sides of the puck and showing flashes of offensive upside. His responsible two-way play and work ethic have made him a valuable piece within the forward group.

“Ethan is going to have a breakout season. He couldn’t catch a break last season between injuries but his character and sportsmanship blossomed.” said GM Jake MacNeil He’s a team-first player with a great attitude and with his skill set we know this will be the season he takes the next step and is an important part of the puzzle. Excited to see what he can do when feeling 100% as we’ve seen it firsthand.”

Royer becomes the latest returning piece as the Corvairs continue to shape their 2025–26 roster.
