The Caledonia Corvairs are thrilled to announce the return of 2006-born forward Gage Butcher from the Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL).
A native of Trenton, Gage split last season between the OJHL and PJCHL, recording 14 points in 7 regular-season games with Frankford and 18 points in 17 playoff games. He also appeared in 2 games as an Affiliate Player with the Corvairs, giving the team a glimpse of his speed, skill, and offensive instincts.
“Gage is a player that flies under the radar. He’s got all the tangibles to be a dynamite player. He made the top OJHL team last year as a rookie and saw limited opportunities, but once he gets confidence going he’ll find lots of success,” said Jake MacNeil.
Gage’s return adds depth and excitement to the Corvairs’ forward group as the team prepares for a competitive season. Fans can expect his speed, hockey IQ, and playmaking ability to be key assets on the ice.
We’re excited to welcome Gage back to Caledonia—here’s to another season of thrilling hockey!
