Quick named Eastern Conference Performer of the Week

Colby Booth-Housego (St. Marys Lincolns )

2 games:  2-0-0, 0.50 GAA, .980 Save%, 1 SO

The 3rd-year netminder from Kitchener stopped 22 of 23 shots faced in a 4-1 win over London on Friday.  He extended his career franchise records for wins to 43 and shutouts to 9 with a 27-save effort in Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Waterloo, helping the first-place Lincolns to their 16th straight win.  The 2024-25 GOHL All-Star goalie has won all four of his starts since returning to the Lincolns at the trade deadline, improving his career record to 43-6-3.

Ethan Quick (Caledonia Corvairs)

2 games: 3 goals, 6 assists, 9 points

The second-year forward from Trenton scored the OT winner and added two assists in a big 3-2 win over Hamilton on Saturday in a battle for the 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.  One night later, the 4th round pick by the Ottawa 67’s in 2021 recorded his third straight multi-point game by scoring twice and adding 4 assists in an 8-2 win over Welland.  Ethan leads the Corvairs in assists (33) and power play points (19).  This is his second Performer of the Week selection this season.
